Easy-Living since 2002.
The ground-breaking ceremony was June 15, 2001 and residents began moving into their new homes in March 2002.
The designs include standard features and specifications that exceed Ontario Building Code standards such as doorways that are three-feet wide for ease of mobility. During the building stages, many of our first time purchasers chose to upgrade many of the standard features. Some of these included hardwood flooring, additional bathrooms in lofts, ceramic tile at entryways, kitchen and bathrooms, cabinetry and appliances. Many have continued to upgrade areas within their homes so that each interior is now unique.
Residents are making full use of the 2,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse, complete with catering kitchen, multipurpose room, wheelchair accessible bathrooms and book exchange library. It provides a expanded venue for large gatherings of family and friends at no cost to the residents of Woodside Mews.
While the exterior of the garden homes and surrounding properties are the responsibility of Trafalgar Senior Homes Limited, some of our residents have enhanced their surrounding gardens by adding colourful potted plants to their patios in spring and decorating for the seasons and holidays. Woodside Mews has definitely become an adult lifestyle community with a difference.
